During the exhibition in Galleri Zebra in Södertälje, Mag Wozniak will present photos from 3 series: Timing, Enduro, Portraits, mostly made as parts of Camera Shift photo projects, Body language painting and an installation specially prepared for this exhibition. The title of the exhibition TIMING is the literal and metaphorical common denominator of all the presented works and draws attention to the multidimensional perception of time depending on the subject, circumstances and means of expression, especially in connection with black & white photography.

“Color by definition is an optical illusion – that’s why black and white photography most accurately reflects my intentions – what I want to show and how. Regardless of whether I see a specific frame or just plan to capture the composition, the most important are timing in synergy with light and exposure time. „ – Mag Wozniak

Timing? Time? Philosophers and scientists have constructed these concepts, defined and analyzed them in many ways and put them into our reality, but still, as Albert Einstein said, „Time is an illusion.”

The artist does not analyze and does not answer the question of what TIMING is, leaving it to the viewers' individual analysis. Its purpose is to draw attention to its multifacetedness and differentiated weight, fluidity and relativity, and the interpretation depends on what is in our heads, what joys or sorrows we have at the moment, what experiences we have had, or, for example, what is approaching us …

An interesting fact is also the way of presenting photographic works, which, apart from classic museum-quality prints on archival paper in limited editions, will also include photos and inkographies on aluminum, and their originality will be individually emphasized with hand-painted details by the artist.

The exhibition will be accompanied, among others, by virtual exhibition at the Power of Art VR Gallery and a Virtual Tour by Mag Wozniak.

The words of Terry Pratchett in Hogfather “There is always time for another last minute” are a perfect summary of the exhibition idea.
